Once your project has been given a tentative start date, our admin team will notify you via phone and/or email to go over the logistics of the job start.

If your scheduled start date arrives and the weather prevents us from starting work, we will plan to start on the next available day the weather permits for tear-off.

Preparing for Your Roofing Project

At RoofRite in Salem, we understand that while we offer affordable new roofs and repairs, home improvement projects can be a source of stress. To help ease your mind, here are a few important things to consider as you prepare for your roofing project.

Parking Considerations

We will likely need to place a dumpster or dump trailer in your driveway during the project. If you usually park in your garage, please move your vehicle the night before we start to ensure you’re not blocked in.

Protecting Your Yard and Decor

While we take great care to protect your home’s perimeter with plywood, we recommend moving any large yard ornaments, such as birdbaths or planters, as well as hanging items, away from the house or into the garage. This will help prevent any damage from falling debris. Please note that RoofRite Services Inc. is not responsible for damage to items left hanging under the eaves when the job begins.

Skylight Removal

Whether we are replacing your skylight or not, it’s likely that we will need to remove it at some point during the project. We’ll ensure to handle it with care, but it’s good to be prepared for this step.

Outdoor Pets

It is our standard practice to provide job site cleanup at the end of each workday, and in order for us to provide adequate clean-up and to keep your pets and our crews safe, we ask that you secure your outdoor pets while crews are on-site.
